Housing

Our staff has worked effectively with numerous agencies to develop and implement effective housing and community development plans and zoning revisions to address housing needs. Our staff is very familiar with State housing law requirements and we tailor Housing elements to respect local considerations. 

We work closely with each of our clients and the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to ensure that every Housing Element we prepare meets State requirements for certification. Our familiarity with housing extends beyond Housing Elements—our staff has prepared Consolidated Plans and Action Plans and administered federal and state grant programs, including CDBG and HOME. In addition, our staff has prepared and implemented housing trust funds, inclusionary housing, homebuyer assistance, and housing rehabilitation programs. We also prepare CEQA documents for Housing Element adoption, including Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) and Negative Declarations.
