Lakeport Housing Element Update (2)

De Novo prepared the 2009 Housing Element and 2014 Housing Elements for the City of Lakeport.  Each Housing Element Update addressed the maintenance and improvement of existing housing stock, encouraging a range of housing types to meet the needs of each income group and special needs population, the provision of adequate sites, and methods to encourage extremely low income and employee housing.  The Housing Elements each included a full review of the City’s Zoning Code requirements in order to address potential constraints to housing, including market-rate housing, and to ensure that the Housing Element provided appropriate goals, policies, and programs to ensure that the City is accommodating and encouraging a full range of housing types.
